MAIN FUNCTION ROOM

Our main function room is used to host festive boards and is the ideal venue to host a variety of events from :

Lodge socials and reunions

Weddings and Wakes

Charity fundraisers and race nights

Annual dinners, Luncheons and Tea dances

Sportsman’s dinners and celebrity speakers,

Family celebrations to Ordinations

Burns Nights to Christmas Parties

We can assist with contact details for various acts and the Main Function Room has hosted Bands, Singers, Choirs, Highland Dancers, Bagpipes, Discos and many other talented artists. With our bingo machine and projector screen being used on many occasions, with good load in/out access for entertainers as well as dressing room.

Room capacity varies depending on what event is being staged and if a dance floor is required, but a full dinning room would be in the region of 150 and a full social event with dance floor would be between 100-120 (again depending on size of dance floor and what space would be required for the band/act).

Second Function Room

Our second function room is used during the week to host festive boards but is the ideal for the smaller, more intermit occasions such as Quiz nights and other events as detailed in the main function room only on a smaller scale.

Room capacity varies depending on what event is being staged and normally this smaller more intermit room does not require a dance floor. A full dinning room would be 44 and a full social event with would be in the region of 30-40 (again depending on what event is being planned).

The Colin Horner Lounge and Bar       

The building offers members and their guests a relaxed lounge area and is also used as an additional meeting room for visitations, committee meetings and a private bar area for AGMs.

Our well stocked bar offers a variety of wines, ales and spirits as well as soft drinks and draught beers with specific items which can be sourced by arrangement prior to an event.

Our talented dedicated kitchen staff and team of waitresses / waiters can offer an extensive range of culinary options to suit every budget and occasion. The top quality food served can range from a full banquet c/w silver service to home made pie, chips and peas supper and everything in between.

 

Information

This easy to get to venue has extremely close bus and Metro links as well as being within a very short distance to Newcastle’s Central Station which is on the Main East Coast Rail network. As well as Newcastle International Airport which serves the city. Travelling by car, the Hall also offers a secure gated car park with c/w car park attendant on meeting nights and by arrangement on Social events.
